Hello! My name is Emily from Eaton Rapids, Michigan. I come from a wonderful family of 7 (now 10!) and have been working for the past four years in the educational field. I’ve held various positions in schools and learned much about the difference that can be made by a loving presence.

I am honored and humbled to join Con-solatio in the mission of being present to the suffering of others as Mary was present to Jesus on the Cross. Con-solatio’s mission of offering simple presence and simple friendship to the suffering and lonely matches perfectly with what I long to do. I am excited to see how God will use me in these upcoming months. While on mission with Con-solatio I will spend time with the suffering and lonely – offering my friendship. I am grateful and humbled to be God’s hands and feet for the people I will serve.
