Why I Serve

I have been changed by my friendships with the suffering and lonely during the year and a half I spent on mission in Lima, Peru. I greatly desire that other young people have the opportunity to encounter God in His littlest ones like I did, and to likewise be transformed. That’s why I am continuing my work with Con-solatio on Mission Staff for the upcoming year.

I work to spread the good news of our mission – through inviting American youth to consider saying ‘yes!’ to Christ’s call to serve the poor in a radical way, sharing the beauty of the mission we receive with others in person and through media, and fostering connection with our Missionary Program alumni as they continue to deepen the fruits of their time of mission back at home.

I hope that my own experience of Christ’s presence in the poor in Peru shines as a beacon of hope to those I encounter domestically.

About Me

After graduating from college at Franciscan University, I took a leap of faith to serve with Con-solatio as a missionary volunteer in Peru for a year and a half. Now, I’m taking a leap of faith to continue my work with Con-solatio in Brooklyn, NY.

Your Impact

By supporting my work on Mission Staff, you help American youth say ‘yes!’ to God’s calling and go out to console the lonely and suffering. You help shape future generations with a gaze of compassion. As partners, we are on this mission together! I humbly invite you to join me.
