Hello! My name is Texas. I just finished high school in Lyons, Colorado, and I am looking forward to spending 14 months serving Jesus in Montevideo, Uruguay, starting in September 2026. 

During my time in high school, I have been blessed with the opportunity to take four short-term mission trips with my family to Limuru, Kenya. These experiences, along with lots of prayer, encouraged me to serve for a long-term mission trip.

When I first visited Con-solatio, I was inspired by the witness of the missionaries I met, and I felt the call to join them. Con-solatio missionaries live in a community built on prayer and compassion. I am so thankful for the opportunity to offer myself to God through an intense prayer life and as a loving presence to the community in Montevideo. I know I will learn so much and be blessed by the people I serve.
