Hello! My name is Sarah and I’m from Portland, Oregon. I first encountered Con-solatio on a mission trip to New York City during my time in college. That first encounter–although brief–would stay with me in heart and prayer, and eventually lead me to Chengalpattu, India!
In the mission of Con-solatio, I have found more than just a wonderful opportunity to serve the Lord during a year of mission abroad. Con-solatio has invited me into a way of living the Gospel that, although radically simple, holds weight as it responds to the human heart’s greatest cry: a thirst for presence. My heart is pulled towards this mission as I witness the missionaries creating a space where one can enter into an embrace of Mercy. I am filled with gratitude as I reflect on the gift I have been given to spend the next 14 months in Chengalpattu, India, living out the mission of Jesus’ merciful heart!
One of the most beautiful parts of this mission is that I get to invite others to join me! Whether spiritually or financially, my mission partners are the ones who make this mission a reality. Will you join me in this mission of love?
