I-schools in Brooklyn

I look forward to Mondays because on these days I get to be a part of the I-school, a reading and discussion group at Con-solatio. When I am there, I feel loved and welcomed in ways beyond my expectations. I’ve left the I-School sessions amazed at the privilege of being able to be a part of something like this, knowing very well I’ve done nothing to deserve it.

The experience of being there is truly a gift as much as it is an invitation to give oneself (they have a talent for making it fun and easy to do so). I feel that God has used this gathering of hearts and minds as an instrument of His healing and consolation in my life and those of others. I can say with confidence that my life has been transformed by my encounter with the members of Con-solatio and that the I-School has been a great part of that encounter.
