Stepping Into Mission: Orientation 2025

Con-solatio Orientation 2025 was a beautifully formative experience, filled with challenges, deep insights, laughter, and, most importantly, prayer.

During this time, I learned—through conversations, visits, and the example of others—ways I can best live out my vocation of love as a Con-solatio volunteer in El Salvador.

Through the times I had to step out of my comfort zone, I got a taste of the challenges that will come with mission. Through prayer, talks, and readings, I received a retreat-like experience, and through conversations, community meals, and everyday moments, the Con-solatio community truly began to feel like family to me.

Orientation renewed in me my desire to love and serve others in a radical way and to surrender all to Christ, in both the bad times and the good.
