A Day with Con-solatio

By Anna O., friend

We recently welcomed several teenage girls and their mothers for an afternoon together in our Brooklyn community.

When I first arrived on Sunday for a day with Con-solatio, I didn’t really know what to expect. I didn’t know what we were going to be doing, and I didn’t know how much fun I was going to have. We had snacks, and then we played a game where someone had to mouth a sentence to another person, while the other person was listening to music. Then, we made things out of clay. I made little bowls, a mushroom, a keychain, and lots of other stuff! We ended the day by praying the Rosary. This was meaningful too and pointed to a deeper purpose to the day. It was a really fun day, and I’m super glad that I went.
