Virtual Lenten Reflection

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of participating in an online reflection with the Con-solatio community. As Ceci spoke about Dante’s Divine Comedy, we had the opportunity to remember that we are not made for this life, but for eternal life. This is something that I have tried to focus on throughout this Lenten season. My actions, my words, and my choices matter even more in light of eternal life.

Through my friendships and experiences with various Con-solatio missionaries, I have come to a deeper appreciation of the small moments. They have taught me that my life, as it is right now, is an opportunity for this mission of compassion. The Con-solatio community motivates me to live compassionately at home, with friends, and in my classroom, and to live in the hope of the Resurrection always.
